All of my life I've had a dream and a plan. I've loved fashion for as long as I can remember. (playing "fashion designer" in the 1st grade on road trips with my big sister if that tells you anything) And, at the same age, I visited New York for the first time and I knew that is where I wanted to be. So, the plan was: Go to school, Major in Fashion Merchandising, Move to New York City, and get a fabulous job (no specifics) in the industry..easy enough. Then, graduation came...and graduation went...

My name is Rachel, and the truth is, I'm about as indecisive as they come. I'm the girl who spends 30 minutes debating between the buffalo chicken flatbread and the black bean burger. I get buyer's remorse the instant I buy something, always thinking of all the other options that could have been. And now, I'm indecisively figuring out what it is I want to do with my future. This summer I had an incredible internship opportunity in New York City, doing things I have always dreamed of doing (styling, writing for Huffington Post, assisting on photo shoots). When my internship ended, I was having trouble finding a job, having trouble pinpointing what exactly I was looking for, and I just felt like I needed to take a step back... So, here I am.

There are a couple of things that I am sure of: I like my clothes.. a lot, I like writing..a lot, and I (pretend)I know what I'm doing with a camera. Sounds like the perfect equation for a fashion blog, right? So, while I'm sitting at home figuring out the next step, I will also be enjoying too much wine with my mom, watching too many movies with my dad,  cuddling too much with my Beagle, Marley, and taking a stab at creating my own blog to share my personal style and crazy thoughts.
